This book contains all you need to help you decide what you will do, how you will cope, and how to get the most from both pregnancy and your new baby.Fully illustrated with photographs, cartoons and helpful diagrams this revised version of The Pregnancy Book explains:

  • What you can do to make sure you and your baby stay healthy during pregnancy;
  • How the baby develops;
  • The stages of labour; and
  • How to look after your baby and yourself in the first weeks after birth.

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has established a Consumers Forum which has produced a number of clinically accurate leaflets explaining common procedures.
