E-Moderator Training

The NCSS is offering two people per English Government Office region the opportunity to become trained e-moderators. The National CAMHS Support Service and the National CAMHS Workforce Programme will pay for the training which is being organised by the University of Leicester. What they ask in return is that each trained person e-moderates 2 courses for their region in the 12 months following the training.

Targeted Mental Health Support Projects Announced

25 pilot projects have been announced by the DCSF. Each pilot will be implementing innovative ways to ensure an innovative service for vulnerable children, young people and families. The findings from pilot projects will inform the national roll-out.

Displayed it in children's centres, GP surgeries, school counselling offices, colleges and so on. There is space at the bottom of the poster for Local CAMHS to tailor it by adding their details at the bottom.

Updated guidance  from the DH, which establishes the responsible commissioner.

Who Pays? Establishing the Responsible Commissioner

This guidance was issued the DH, 18th September 2007 and replaces the Establishing the Responsible Commissioner guidance.

The document sets out a framework for establishing responsibility for commissioning an individual's care within the NHS, i.e. determining who pays for a patient’s care.
