This report summarises, analyses and comments upon the findings from Reviews of Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), undertaken during the past year or two, in the nine regions of England. Plus, it includes a series of recommendations for how to develop tier 4 services.
Each review reported on the type, amount and quality of provision and on commissioning arrangements within the region. In many cases, it was the latest in a series of local investigations into tier 4 services.
