Participation in CAMHS
Involving children, young people and their families in all aspects of CAMHS development and evaluation, needs assessment and so on is becoming increasingly important.
Participation may be a relatively new part of developing CAMHS, but it is becoming increasingly important. For instance, Standard 9 of the National Service Framework for Children, Young People and Maternity Services states that 'The view of service users are systematically sought and incorporated into reviews of service provision'.
