Perinatal and Infant Mental Health
These pages are presently under development and will be a resource for members of the general public, commissioners, and providers of services.
The National Service Frameworks for Mental Health (1999) and for Children and Maternity Services (2004) support the provision of good, timely mental health services, specifically to mothers in relation to good maternal mental health, and to infants.
These frameworks are underpinned by Every Child Matters and the government’s aim to provide every child with the best possible start in life
